About Our Car:

  Our car is made out of a box that we randomly chose to be the body of the car.  Bottle caps were used to hold on the wheels and keep them in place, eight bottle caps were used and placed in both sides of the discs. The weight of the box helped the car stay in the ground and keep it from any force that might move it, because the discs don't weight the same as the box.  Before the "Disc Car" we were thinking about making our car out of a can of coke, which names was going to end up being "Coke Car," other design that we came up with was: using a small pink box and normal bottle caps, because we were focusing on not making the car weight too much since it could be more slower. In the end, we made our car out of a normal box, used straws, and bottle caps; even though the car didn't do what we expected and worked correctly, we learned a big lesson: to plan things ahead. The name "Disc Car" came due to the wheels that are discs and because they are what makes the car stand out more.
